Mission
Summary:
Provide business analysis, programming and development support for existing and new applications for the Information Technology Department. This includes the Capstone PARCView, Fiber management, primary Production, Quality and Process Analysis. Serve as liaison between Mills, Corporate IT, vendors and other Corporate Business Units. This roll may expand into other projects and support as necessary, and it can be Virtual or based in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
JOB FUNCTIONS: (Job functions include, but are not limited to the following)
Business Analysis/Data Analysis /System Engineering
Implementation and steady state support
IT and Process Application development
Mill IT and Process System Engineering
Data Analysis, programming and report development
SQL support
Testing of new and existing application code
Business analysis activities to gather required development and reporting requirements
Mill Division IT 2nd Tier escalation and Project management
Process IT assistance as necessary
Analyze existing architecture, improve application structure and ensure industry-standard best practices are followed.
Assist with business requested enhancements to Mill Applications
Translate requirements into specifications that will be used to implement software requirements, reports and dashboards etc.
Provide support to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards
Implement system testing, including development of test plans, test cases and documentation of feature/function traceability.
Mill IT projects and related budgets as necessary.
Coordinate and document IT related training.
Maintain appropriate documentation for process and systems.
Adhere to application change control, security per policy and audit requirements.
GENERAL DUTIES: (General duties include, but are not limited to the following)
Application development and support
Report writing, programming, graphics and system design
Mill System development and application Testing
Project coordination and management
Provide requirements for application changes and new requests.
Coordination of periodic business and vendor meetings.
Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
Ensure that all related policies and processes are followed.
On call support as required.
Escalates any issues that can't be resolved
Periodic travel less than 25%
Performs other duties as assigned
SPECIFIC SKILLS: (Specific skills include, but are not limited to the following)
Experience with Paper Mill Manufacturing and related system processes. (i.e., ERP, Roll Tracking, Costing, Inventory, etc.).
Working knowledge of Process Applications (minimum of 5 years' experience with applications running in a production environment).
Technical expertise regarding data models and design development
SQL (queries, trigger, jobs, procedures, reports, etc.)
Strong Analytical and System Design Skills.
Programming/scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle
Experience with .NET, ASP, Visual Basic, C, Java, XAML
Application Deployment, configuration, documentation and training.
Experience with relational databases
Ability to understand system interfaces to SAP, shop floor devices and other supported systems.
Demonstrated participative Leadership style.
Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done.
Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive system requirement documents
Experience with documentation utilizing various analytical methodologies

4-year college degree in general or IT-Related field required. Equivalent work experience considered.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
