Contractor Sales Consultant - MI
Our client, an established distributor for a premier manufacturer of windows and doors, is seeking a motivated Contractor Sales Professional. This candidate will be selling quality windows and doors directly to Contractors covering the territory western Michigan. -Develop long-term, beneficial relationships with Builders, Contractors, Architects, Trade Organizations and Consumer Clients
-Responsible for generating high-volume and profitable sales
-Exceed customer expectations; ensure customer issues and concerns are addressed promptly
-Regularly calls on existing customers and consistently prospects new business
-Represents client at all company-sponsored events, at trade association meetings, and at home shows to promote their products
-Pursue leads, gives product demonstrations and discusses product options with customers
-Influence prompt delivery of orders and inventory turns by effectively communicating appropriate product lead times and accurate customer need dates
-Ensure that products are installed correctly
-Update customers of business changes such as product offering, pricing, or assembly options
-Participate in various departmental and interdepartmental meetings or training as required
-Become a mentor for new team members
Required Qualifications
-Bachelors or Technical Degree is preferred
-2
years related experience within a contractor sales role preferred
-Able to accurately read, interpret and take-off blueprints
-Energetic, competitive, self-driven and passionate
-Effectively use electronic software and systems to quote, sell and order products for new construction residential and commercial project customers
-Ability to manage multiple-tasks and be able to prioritize responsibilities
-Possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
