Today, we are proud to offer a long term contract Assembler position located in Kalamazoo, MI and Portage, MI.
Position Description:
Small Parts Assembly - assembly of small surgical devices and operating room accessories. Most work is stand up or sit down or combination of both. They are assembling drills used in surgeries - extremely detailed-oriented work as well as helping out in the warranty area (completing repairs on the parts). Team members will be cross-trained on multiple stations and work in small groups.
General Assembly - Assembly of hospital beds. Can work with smaller parts, but assembling beds. Standing for the full shift. Work in an assembly line setting.
Job Requirements:
Years of experience (minimum/maximum): Open
Required education: High School Diploma or GED
Entry level OK (no or minimal work history)
If they have previous work experience, no excessive job hopping (need to be at the job 6 months or more)
Fast food or retail experience is good.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
