Responsibilities: Support existing systems, including implementing bug fixes and enhancements. Participate in projects to deliver system enhancements that will provide process improvements, especially for Customer Service. Participate in projects to re-engineer and transition Legacy systems, some of which are based on MS Access, to newer applications based on VB.NET/ASP.NET/SQL Server and/or to a LIMS-based solution. Define/document robust business system requirements. A variety of tools and techniques are used, including interviews, observation, process/Datamodelling/analysis, and facilitated user sessions. Analyze requirements to develop solution designs, working with stakeholders in the business Develop, implement, and maintain IT solutions and databases that meet requirements. Work with both internal and external IT service providers to deliver solutions/projects Manage the communication of requirements, expectations and priorities between time zones and teams in a manner which optimizes resource usage and minimizes turnaround times. Create and manage business processes that ensure key stakeholders have visibility over relevant issues and related progress and status. Participate in cross-functional teams involving operations, R&D, Marketing, to plan and deliver all aspects of Genetics product launch. Ensure that requirements are addressed in the solution and that the solution is tested adequately. Create and maintain system development life cycle documentation. Participate in and/or drive problem investigation and resolution. Participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing cycle times, eliminating redundancies and increasing throughput. Consult with and advise leadership and decision makers to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for the commercial area. SKILLS:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience, ideally in Information Systems or Computer Science 2
years relevant IT experience, ideally with Laboratory, Life Sciences, and/or Customer Service applications. 2
years experience collecting, analysing, and documenting requirements. Strong database skills including fluency in SQL. Proven ability to translate business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities. Experience in the application of project management principles and software development life cycle management Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms Fluency in English Strong analytical problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams or individually, as needed Interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate with existing subject matter experts, across many functions, and utilize them as team members Proven success in delivering IT solutions Ability to transform data in files or databases Ability to write queries in SQL Ability to take direction and to complete tasks with minimal direction
Qualifications: Ability to write complex queries in SQL Software development experience Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) LabWare LIMS SQL Server Background in laboratory environment operations Experience managing software projects/teams Skills in project management, business process re-engineering, organizational change management in regard to new system deployment, and risk management Genetics and/or bioinformatics Windows and Linux environments Visual Basic .NET Python PHP Database design Background or education in Mathematics/Statistics, or Biological/Physical SciencesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
