Provide technical oversight and process optimization for the support of existing injection molded plastics manufacturing operations.
Must be familiar with plastic molding operations and equipment and assembly to include robotics, auxilliary equipment, end-of-arm tooling, etc.
SHALL:
Develop injection molding processes in support of new product introductions.
Provide technical support to post-molding assembly and packaging operations.
Identify improvements to increase productivity and quality while minimizing costs.
Establish mold maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot problems.
Require BS degree and 3
years experience designing process instructions in a plastics manufacturing facility. Must have good knowledge of process control systems, assembly and packaging machinery. Familiarity with dedicated automation cells is a plus.
