Financial Analyst - Finance
The Financial Analyst in this permanent job position is responsible to participate in projects to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the business. He/she extracts financial data from various accounting and reporting systems and performs financial accounting analysis of the data, interpreting, recording, and summarizing the results through budgets, GL, or monthly reports.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the analysis of financial data.
- Interprets financial transactions for managers who must make business decisions.
- Assists in planning and designing budget model, interpreting variances between budget and actual.
- Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis related to capital projects.
- Develops financial reports for budgets, forecasting, and results analysis.
Qualifications
-MBA and less than 2 years relevant experience; or
-BA / BS in accounting, finance, or relevant field and 5 years relevant experience;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
-Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated system.
- Costpoint application experience
-Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends,
extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
-Ability to work under specific time constraints.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
