Role Description:
This is a full-time position that will provide administrative support to our Young Plant and Landscape sales departments to ensure efficient operations based on, but not limited to, the responsibilities listed below.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to work long hours including weekends seasonally.
Responsibilities:
Process daily order entry expeditiously with careful attention to detail.
Assist with identifying and resolving problems as they arise.
Assist with coordinating deliveries and communicating to customers promptly.
Maintain accurate customer information using a CRM database.
Manage multiple spreadsheets and projects.
Develop written procedures to existing processes and identify potential areas of improvement to increase process efficiency.
Manage Young Plants tag program set up and maintenance both internally and with customers.
Support the Landscape Sales Representative by assisting with pre-order bookings, weekly sales reporting, and other administrative support tasks that arise.
Qualifications:
Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent.
Must have 2
years experience in customer service.
Knowledge of basic Microsoft functions with emphasis on Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects/tasks at once.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Be punctual and reliable; manage a schedule to meet deadlines.
Greenhouse, Garden, or Sales knowledge is a plus, but not required.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
