Summary:
The purpose of this position is to assist staff and clients of the Veterans Service Office (VSO) with daily tasks.
Ensure timely client communication, thorough data collection and entry, and complete file documentation.
Provide front desk customer service to VSO clients.
Essentia Duties&
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from clients, staff, outside agencies, and other stakeholders; return calls; transfer calls to appropriate departments and offices.
Provide appropriate information to clients and outside agencies' questions regarding veterans' benefits and services.
Manage calendars, mailings and faxes, forms, sensitive documentation, and other correspondence to and from clients& staff.
File, organize, and maintain Veterans Service Office documents and data.
Support the Veterans Service Office front counter:
greet and direct customers to gather intake information.
Attend outreach events as the representative for the Veterans Service Office.
Perform related work as required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience High school diploma (or GED equivalent) At least 1-3 years of related work experience in customer service Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities County positions include a benefits package with medical coverage, paid holiday, and vacation time.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
