Summary:
Management Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a growing organization in Kalamazoo, MI. This individual will be expected to know mechanical/electrical equipment and be able to repair it. Candidates must also pass the companys Mechanical and/or Electrical skill qualification tests for eligibility and be able to provide their own tools and toolbox.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate/Rebuild gearboxes and seals
Basic machining-lathe, drill press and mill operation
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and electrical/system schematics
Welding abilities (all types) for basic repairs
Cutting and Grinding including metal temper-protection
Bracket/Mounting/Support fabrication
Pipefitting/plumbing assembly and repair
Pneumatic and hydraulic skills - assembly and troubleshooting
PLC troubleshooting
Electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation including all voltages and load testing
Ability to change and re-wire all AC/DC motors, relays and other basic electrical components including 3-phase 480
Wiring schematic understanding to component level isolation and evaluation
Run conduit, replace electrical appliances, meet OSHA/NEC standards
Qualifications:
Journeymans Card Millwright, Machine Repair, or equivalent required; associates degree in industrial electronics, electronics technology, or related field preferred
5 years of manufacturing experience required
Strong Preventative Maintenance techniques such as failure mode identification, alignment, the use of dial indicators on shafts and rollers for concentricity and Bearing/Machine Lube Order compliance required
Excellent applied mathematical skills
Basic computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets
Advanced analyses such as thermographic profiling, oil analysis and vibration analysis
Ability to research parts and equipment, compare performance characteristics
Ability to read/understand all required equipment instructions and repair
Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as planning/organizational skills
Must be able to provide own tools and toolbox
